Some of my radiators are cold at the top — what's wrong?
Cold at the top usually means trapped air, which a simple bleed fixes. If the whole radiator is cold or cold at the bottom, it's more likely sludge in the system — we'd power flush and balance the circuit to restore even heat.
Can you add radiators to rooms that don't have any?
Yes. We extend existing circuits or install new runs, sizing each radiator to the room's heat loss and fitting TRVs so the room controls its own temperature. We'll route pipework neatly and explain the best positions for heat distribution.
What is system balancing and why does it matter?
Balancing adjusts the valves across your radiators so hot water is distributed evenly — meaning every room reaches temperature together rather than the nearest radiators stealing all the flow. It improves comfort and efficiency, and we carry it out on every new and upgraded system.
